With this branch of hypnotherapy, like RTT, it is not unrealistic to say that you may only need one or two sessions.
But, even more reassuringly, you are simply spending time with me, talking, relaxing, both in and out of trance, while your powerful unconscious makes transformative sense of what I am saying.
Here is where I utilise conversation, story, and change techniques that fly under your conscious mind’s radar. It’s a case of there being three people in the session. You, me, and your subconscious mind!

A session of an hour maximum that changes the intention in your subconscious mind, and engages all of your hidden strengths, your inner resources, and the magic of metaphor story.
One to three sessions are expected, depending on your need.

When treating you on more of a flexible hourly basis like this, it’s my job to determine whether your subconscious mind is trying to fulfill a positive intention for you. Or whether what you’re experiencing may simply be a problem-solving pattern or coping mechanism, that has outlived its usefulness. The underlying factor might have resolved years ago, and subconscious mind just never took the hint!
Remember, when your subconscious mind is trying to keep you safe or prioritise you in some way, it doesn’t always factor in what the things it creates in your mind or body do to you.
Illness keeps you safe; it keeps you in the house. Being small and quiet in some way keeps you safe; you aren’t a threat to anyone or considered a rival. Not chasing your dreams keeps you safe; no-one can reject you. Having a phobia keeps you safe, because that thing you experienced once, that felt like a threat to survival, will always be front and center in your mind, so you’re ready to run at a moment’s notice.
Smoking is good; it makes you feel included or less stressed out.
Holding on to the wrong relationship, well, at least you won’t be alone with your thoughts; surely having someone feels better than no-one. But does it…

What am I going on about? It’s that it’s important that the language I use to help you will be specifically tailored to the way you personally interpret the world. Determining whether you view the world, and recall the past, more visually, audibly, or feelings based, which is a little NLP magic that also helps cut through confusion and get fast results.
With the right help, phobias, anxiety, bodily inflammation like arthritis & fibromyalgia, skin issues, confidence, depression, insomnia, the perception of pain, and so much more, can successfully be pivoted in your mind.
We can ask your mind to do something else with that same positive intention it is trying to fulfill.
We literally say, ‘thanks for that thing you’re doing; we appreciate the thought, but would you mind doing something else that will feel a lot more friendly and helpful for our whole being?’
